Two installation methods are available. One method is drilling holes on the pool edge, then using the screw to fix the main unit. Two method is stick to the pool edge with super double-sided tapes. When should i replace the battery? /Why the main unit always makes a beep sound every 10S? Lasts about 1 year and can be easily replaced with 1.5V battery. With a low battery warning function, the main unit will beep in intervals of 10S, indicating the battery needs replacement. What is the range of the pool alarm between the reveiver? Pool alarm main unit can typically be 300ft from the receiver unit. Place the remote receiver within 300 feet of the main unit. Install the home unit on the nearest wall and avoid obstacles between both units to improve range. Alarm is not turning on when an object is dropped in the pool? Check the submersible sensor tube into the water lever 10cm deep. Or the weight of the object is too light (dropped object not less than 6kgs). False alarm caused by strong wind? When there is strong wind or heavy rain weather, please move the control button to right to switch to Mute/Swim status to avoid false alarms. Installation Location & Quantity Required Alarm Placement for pools 16x32 sq. ft or smaller One pool alarm can be used for all pool types. This includes aboveground, in-ground, inflatable and soft side pools. Alarm Placement for pools larger than 16x32 sq. ft. It is recommended that more than one alarm should be used in pools larger than 16x32 sq. ft.
